CommandIR is supported across popular Linux distributions but will work on any 2.4+ Linux kernel based system.

Software setup consists of three components:

  1. Configuring drivers
  2. Configuring your remote & device codes
  3. Configuring your software for your remotes and devices. 
Fortunately drivers are now readily available and many configurations are publicly available:
